Vaicak Ceremony
Once a year during the full moon in May or June, the Buddhist hold the Vaicak ceremony commemorating the birth, the death and the time when the Boddhisatva attains the highest wisdom and become Buddha. The ceremonies held on Mendut Temple and attended by thousands of Buddhist coming from all over Indonesia.
